Secrets of Outer Space: Into the Great Beyond, Human Features Film director Jeffrey Wengrofsky’s indie film festival, is currently preparing to show short films exploring space travel, extra-terrestrial life, and alternative dimensions. Secrets of Outer Space is scheduled to premiere at the Gene Frankel Theatre (24 Bond St, NYC) on Jan 29, and then screen at Film Noir Cinema (122 Meserole Avenue, Brooklyn) on Feb 8th and at the 2019 Berkeley Video and Film Festival in Oct-November.

On Sunday, November 4, 2018, HFF director Jeffrey Wengrofsky will fly to Berkeley to Guest Curate the Berkeley Video & Film Festival 2018 from 6 to 9pm. He presented Secrets of the Deep: Dreams on Film, which won the prize for best program. The Secrets series is now an official qualifying festival for Berkeley.  Human Features director Jeffrey Wengrofsky has begun a four part film residency at Film Noir Cinema (122 Meserole Avenue, Brooklyn, NYC). The screening on October 20, 2018 featured a short film (“The Party in Taylor Mead’s Kitchen”) and live musical performances by 1960s experimental-noise-psychedelic legends THE GODZ and theremin virtuoso Rob Schwimmer.  Subsequent screenings include critically-acclaimed and award-winning Secrets of the Deep (Dec. 8), Secrets of Outer Space (Feb. 9, 2019) and Secrets of the Heart (Feb. 14, 2019). On August 11, 2017, Jeffrey Wengrofsky was invited to screen a sample of The Song of Hiawatha along with four of his short films at the Framestore Premiere Theater in London.

On April 9, 2016, a sample of The Song of Hiawatha was screened as part of Jeffrey Wengrofsky’s three-part film residency, Eye From the Lower East Side, at the Howl! Happening in New York City.

On Friday May 27, 2016, The Blind Pig of Ann Arbor hosted the Concert for the Song of Hiawatha, a fundraiser featuring Hiawatha Bailey, The Seat Belts, Glitter Trash, Maxi Chanel and a sneak preview of the film.
